Affordable out of School Childcare

  

Access to affordable childcare has been highlighted as barrier for families across Inverclyde, we are looking to discuss the following: 

  • What does affordable out of school childcare mean to you?  
  • What childcare do you currently use, if any?
  • What is important to you if you do access childcare?

Would you be interested in

  • a career in Out of School Childcare/Childminding/Breakfast Clubs or Parent Stay and Play?

If yes tell us what would prevent this from happening?

    Personally, I don't have a child but some of my family members do, and affordable childcare would be very important to them.
    I don;t think I personally have the temperament to be involved in childcare to be honest.

      - It needs to be free for all families

      - There needs to be a subsidy at least if it cannot be free for all families

      - Breakfast clubs needs to be free that can serve: milk, toast, and one gluten free option.
