we need to engage with young people where they are such as youth clubs. Their voice is vital

It is difficult to get involved when people are in poverty.

Even though you report various issues to the relevant departments they are very seldom acted upon.
It's a constant battle trying to get problems solved.

I agree Paul. Mid Auchenleck is really bad in some areas and surprised nobody has hurt themselves. I have been asking Riverclyde homes for years to resurface the path outside my house as the path level has dropped so much that my porch is now too high and i cannot put a step in front of it as it covers drains. Need dog bins along cycle track to kilmacolm. i only see one at end of millport road just before going on to the track and one on montrose again before heading on to the track.

The traditional idea of community has changed, more use of digital tools to encourage people to discuss issues relating to their community could be useful. People are really busy today but some may like to get involved in a way that doesnt involve lots of face to face meetings, a lot of which can just be talking shops, give people more diverse options to engage. Also consider how we can get people who are new to the area involved in this too.
