I think it's important to make sure there are different ways that people can be part of their community, both in person and online
I completely agree, I think the platform is the way forward and hopefully more people will have their say.
The best way to advertise would be to hold a social event, for example a bingo night for older adults however, before it starts use the opportunity to advertise what's available locally and then proceed to do the fun activities. There should always be an incentive to reach people.
We feel there should be a more direct approach when the council share information this can range from leaflet drops, going door to door etc. The communication between the council and the community is not enough at the moment.
