There are many studies showing the very positive effects of creativity, especially with regard to mental health. A warm space at Crow Cottage with the added creative opportunities in such stimulating surroundings would be a hugh benefit to anyone lucky enough to attend.

Allowing Crow Cottage to provide warm, safe, friendly and artistic environment for people within Inverclyde would be wonderful for both the physical and mental wellbeing of its residents. Creative spaces which are inclusive , welcoming, friendly and accessible to all are very rare but Crow Cottage provides this in abundance to all. They would provide residents of Inverclyde with a safe, warm and relaxing environment to meet new people, enjoy art and feel able to escape the pressures of life for a little while

I have no hesitation in registering my support for Crow Cottage Arts with their funding application. They will do a brilliant job for the community by providing a warm, hospitable secure space. I have had the pleasure of attending one of their workshops and it was a joy from beginning to end. This project can supply emotional and practical support for those who need it. There will be those for whom the coming winter months is a dreary prospect. Crow Cottage can provide a welcoming space where the attendees will be able to use the space and company to suit their personal needs. If my experience is anything to draw on there will be chit-chat and laughs aplenty in an atmosphere of trust and kindly co-operation. I wish them every success with the application.

Having attended a workshop at Crow Cottage Arts, I think it would make the most wonderful warm space in all senses of the word - physical warmth yes, but also mental and emotional warmth. All are so important. Having an opportunity to take part in creative activities as well as a place to keep warm supports dignity and inclusion as well as helping to address isolation. The premises are on a busy street and therefore readily accessible. This would be a beautifully innovative type of warm space which would offer so many benefits alongside the ability to stay warm.

workshops at Crow Cottage are always brilliant, such a good way to bring people together. It would be great to have that creative space accessible to even more people.

Ideal for a safe space. Warm, welcoming and easily accessible. Art is a great way of way to relax and socialise, meet new people and fun for all ages. It’s inclusive and mindfull.

This would allow many more to have a fun time exploring their creative side and make friends at the same time.
